The Stellar network requires accounts to hold a minimum balance of 1 XLM.

Additionally, this minimum balance requirement increases by 0.5 XLM for every limit order placed and for every asset trustline added.

It also costs approximately 0.00001 XLM per transaction.

A balance of 5 XLM should fulfill most requirements.

Add XLM to your account​

  1. Select "Add XLM" on the Freighter extension.

  2. Scan or copy your XLM address.

Your Stellar address is safe to share.

It will look similar to this:

  1. Send XLM to your account.
